MOUNT FUJI OPENS IN ST DAVID’S | FOOD NEWS

Another brand new restaurant concept is opening its doors in Cardiff’s number one shopping destination this May. Japanese restaurant Mount Fuji will open opposite Yo! Sushi in the popular, eastside dining area of the shopping complex and will provide shoppers with a new eating experience. This is not the first dining area to make a recent appearance on the Cardiff scene: other new additions to St David’s include The Cosy Club and Crêpeaffaire.
The restaurant’s name was inspired by the green tea fields located just below Mount Fuji in Japan, which have played a massive part in branding concepts and visual layouts of the eatery. Visitors will be treated to an aesthetically stimulating experience at the restaurant, with bullet train-inspired seating against a fabulous backdrop of the Mount Fuji tea fields on one side, and the city of Tokyo on the other. Menu choices offer a range of Japanese sakes, beers and green teas alongside a delicious assortment of contemporary Japanese meals.
The 39 million customers a year to St David’s make it an attractive choice to food venues and shops; expect a handful more new faces on the scene in the next few months.
