Mighty Cardiff quartet Himalayas have released their new bludgeoning single Alone. The fast-paced, riff-centric single was produced by long-time collaborator Steffan Pringle (Adwaith, Estrons, Red Telephone), mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Dave Sardy (Royal Blood, Josh Homme, Rage Against The Machine) and comes hand in hand with a pensive music video directed by Joel Barney (Royal Blood, Alfie Templeman, Gang Of Youths), which you can watch below.
Harnessing the same melodic ambitions as meaty rock’n’roll artists like Queens Of The Stone Age and Death From Above 1979, Himalayas frontman Joe Williams, whose wielding vocal centres the track said, “Alone is about the idea of being in a nightmare, but one that you don’t seem to want to wake up from. A continuous looping corridor of the unknown, where you’re crawling to find a way through.”
