Born in Newport, South Wales. I studied photography at Bournemouth in the early nineties and worked as a freelance photographer in London shooting nightlife in the late 1990s to early 2000s (published in Dazed & Confused; Mixmag; Sleezenation and The Face).
The oldest evidence for Humans walking on two legs comes from one of the earliest species discovered Sahelanthropus, they lived six million years ago in West-Central Africa and had a chimpanzee sized brain. The evolution of anatomically modern humans Homo Sapiens (the species that you and all other living human beings on this planet belong too) began 200,000 thousand years ago in Africa. They were hunter gatherers who adapted well to the challenges of survival in unstable environments and began to migrate out of Africa across the Earth around 100,000 years ago.
These images were all made in 2017 on the streets of London, Majorca & Wales. – Chris Beardmore
