MUDFEST
Be prepared to get messy and marvel at the magic of mud. That’s right, here you can actually get your hands (and everything else) mucky as you take part in muddy obstacle courses and tug of wars, cook in mug kitchens and hunt for minibeasts.

POKÉMON LEARN-TO-PLAY SESSION
The Game Emporium is hosting a Pokémon Trading Card demo event to teach new players the basics of being a Pokémon trainer. All ages are welcome to battle it out with a pre-built randomised deck, and there are even prizes up for grabs.

ZOG AT ST DAVID’S HALL
Join the lovable dragon Zog on his adventures at Madame Dragon’s School as he faces trials and tribulations in the hope of winning a golden star. Based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, this play is full of roarsome music and family fun.

AFTER DARK: SCIENCE ON SHOW
A hands-on science-themed evening at the National Museum that is suitable for all the family, with activities including recycling plastics with a 3D printer, the energy orchestra, meeting scientists and engineers from Cardiff University, edible insects and much more.

STORY TRAILS
Storyteller Tamar Eluned Williams has created a series of bespoke story trails across Cardiff’s Parks that can be accessed via QR codes. The stories, available in both English and Welsh, engage children in fun activities (such as building stick structures) along the way.
