THE CARDIFF REVIEW | CALLING CREATIVE WRITERS
A new literary magazine has launched in partnership with Cardiff University’s School of English, Communication and Philosophy.
The Cardiff Review is a digital and print literary magazine that publishes contemporary graduate writing. The magazine gives talented students a platform to showcase their work. While they do accept and encourage submissions from all writers, the magazine gives precedence to those currently studying creative writing, or a related course, at a postgraduate level.
As a magazine primarily concerned with student writing and the creative process, the way in which students learn to write is important to The Cardiff Review. Behind The Desk is an interview series in which they speak to writers about their space, their process and their work. They want to know how writers learn their craft and how they foster it. The magazine is as much a publishing platform as it is a place where young writers can learn from those with experience in the industry.
