Powells Pumpkin Patch
Powells Farm Wales, Llanfihangel-nant-Melan, New Radnor, from Sat 7 Oct
Claiming to be more than just pumpkins, this family-run farm grows nine varieties of pumpkins within its plot. Plus, you can meet farm animals, pose for photos and play Halloween-themed games and activities.

Twilight Pumpkin Picking
Vale Pick Your Own, Greenland Farm, Bonvilston, from Sat 7 Oct
The Vale Of Glamorgan’s biggest and best pumpkin event yet, Greenland Farm has grown over 20 varieties of gourds to choose from especially for spooky season. While you’re there, pick up a pumpkin spice latte or a mint chocolate chip hot chocolate from their rustic cafe too.

The Black Cat Pumpkin Patch
The Barn, Mansant Ganol, Ponthenri, Llanelli, from Fri 13 Oct
A family-friendly Carmarthenshire farm with a vast selection of pumpkins, including Polar Bears, Zombie Pumpkins and Jack O’ Lanterns. As well as that, enjoy homemade cupcakes, a walkthrough corn maze and host of farmyard friends, including sheep, goats, alpacas and pigs.

Cardiff Pumpkin Festival / Twilight Pumpkin Festival / Scare Fest
Caerleon Roman Fortress Baths, Sat 14-Tue 31 Oct
Some 30,000 pumpkins to choose from, fairground rides, maize trails and more – all part of the daytime entertainment from Cardiff Pumpkin Festival. Meanwhile, for added spook, the Twilight Pumpkin Festival is a family-friendly nighttime experience. Topping it off, Scare Fest is strictly for brave over-14s.

Wales’ largest Christmas tree grower, Gower Fresh also grow over 100,000 pumpkins annually, and naturally they’re all ripe for the picking this time of year. A Mad Scientist Farm Lab Interactive Show with a shop and cafe are onsite, too.
