The Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink Tour 2011 comes to Cardiff on Thurs Feb 10. After the huge success of 2010’s tour with Mindless Self Indulgence and Bring Me the Horizon, Kerrang! have curated another exciting lineup. Led by pop-punk superstars Good Charlotte, the 2011 Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink Tour also features Massachusetts melodic hardcore gang Four Year Strong and Nashville-based K! Award nominated rockers Framing Hanley.
Currently on a US tour with legends Comeback Kid, Four Year Strong are sending attention grabbing ripples through the hardcore scene and beyond. Formed in 2001, Four Year Strong have released three studio albums – including 2010’s Enemy Of The World
Stars of the 2011 tour are pop-punks Good Charlotte, fronted by brothers Benji and Joel Madden. Their much anticipated fifth album Cardiology was released last November, after re-recording with Don Gilmore, the producer of the band’s first and fourth records.
Natives of Nashville, Tennessee Framing Hanley formed in 2007 and gained notoriety with their song ‘Hear Me Now’ plus a cover of Lil Wayne’s ‘Lollipop.’ With a rapidly expanding UK fanbase, these southerners sold out shows in Manchester and the London Underworld in 2010 and continue to win admirers.
