The popular student hang-out spot returns with its ‘Jazz Jam’, hosted by some of Cardiff’s most talent jazz musicians. An evening of organised music will turn into a free-for-all during the second set where guests are welcome to get up on stage. What can beat jazz music and a pint on a Thursday night?
This 60-minute play presents an intriguing story of the ‘world’s most notorious terrorist’ Osama Bin Laden, in a sensitive yet thought-provoking way. Performed gracefully by Knaïve Theatre, the performance will be sure to provoke debate and discussion.
Enjoy your evening in style with Cardiff’s Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra is proud to present the BBC Young Musician of the Year Martin James Bartlett as soloist as they join in celebrating the outstanding work of Rachmaninov and Stravinsky.

The Mexican holiday Dia de Los Muertos is coming to Cardiff. Infusing carnival and circus with DJ’s and dancing, is there a better way to spend your Friday night? Acrobats, face painting and skull processions will be on show, over 18s only.

Castell Coch Ghost Hunt, Cardiff – Sat 21st
Dating back to the 19th Century, Castell Coch has tons of history and remains one of the most iconic landmarks in South Wales today. Having been reported on numerous occasions for ghost sightings, the castle is giving you the opportunity to investigate its byzantine corridors with some fancy high-tech equipment, just in time for Halloween. The alternative Welsh music festival returns to Cardiff for its 11th year, continuing to celebrate talented up and coming local musicians and bands in a range of different locations over the weekend. SŴN’s ‘Discovery Day’ will be showcasing the likes of Alice Jemima, Campfire Social and loads more.
