FABULOUS ANIMALS
Ever wondered what it would be like to truly let yourself run wild without a second thought? That’s what Joon Dance are doing during this theatre dance performance Fabulous Animals. Following their animalistic behaviours without concern Joon Dance hope to rewild their bodies and minds in a collective stage experience in Wales this July.

THE SNAIL AND THE WHALE
One for the kiddos and even elders with a keen sense of adventure, The Snail And The Whale brings Julia Donaldson’s children’s book to life as the stage play follows a tiny sea snail as he hitches a lift with a giant, yet friendly, humpback whale. The Tall Stories production features narration from Amy Jackson-Ives, who also plays the viola onstage, and original composition from Richard Heacock.

MERLIN’S PIG
A thought-provoking exploration of living myth and its relevance to our modern world, Milly Jackdaw presents a solo stage performance this July in north Wales that weaves together traditional storytelling, physical theatre, music, and ceremony. Feel immersed within the life of Myrddin/Merlin, as he encounters magical animals, unveiling ancient memories and the primal power of the land.

CHOO CHOO!
This two-hander production has a vibrant aesthetic and offbeat premise – a pair of dungaree-wearing fellows live in a house and sing songs – but themes of intrusive thoughts, OCD and death. Choo Choo!, which hits the Edinburgh Fringe in August, is from the StammerMouth theatrical stable, created by Nye Russell-Thompson to make inclusive theatre addressing disability.

BITCOIN BOI
Blending elements of a modern fairytale and a crypto utopia, Bitcoin Boi delves into themes of grief, hope, and the true cost of our wildest aspirations. This play with songs features a close to home narrative courtesy of Riverfront talents Catherine Dyson and Dyfan Jones and director Hannah McPake.

WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
The Tina Turner stage musical finds its way to the Wales Millennium Centre for one night only. From the same people that created the award-winning Whitney – Queen Of The Night, this theatre show celebrates the music of the powerhouse we know as Tina Turner and her hits supported by a full 10-piece live band.

HAY PLAY IN A DAY
It sounds like a near-impossible feat, yet this stage event on the border of Wales and England sees volunteering creatives combine efforts to create several short original plays written, directed and rehearsed all in just 24 hours. All proceeds after expenses go towards Friends Of The Upper Wye and allow for two hours of theatre runtime to enjoy the results.
