Eddi Reader, of Fairground Attraction fame, is bringing her illustrious musical talents to Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon on Saturday 30 May to promote her new album ‘Love Is The Way’.

For those that thought she had ceased her musical endeavours after Fairground Attraction disbanded, she has done quite the opposite. Slip off the radar slightly may be, but she has more than continued her musical prowess, releasing seven successful solo albums. Amongst these was the critically enamoured ‘Sings the Songs of Robert Burns’, which put the poetry of Robert Burns over intricate compositions.

Now, with that list of solo albums behind her, she has returned with what is being called her best work yet, ‘Love Is The Way’. It is a perfect mix of delicate, finely crafted songs that make you realise that behind her voice lays a talented musician.

So there you go, if beautifully ethereal music is your thing, make sure you take a trip to a certain theatre in Brecon this May.
