Chroma
Head In Transit
Don’t Talk Over Me Records

With much remaining in suspended animation due to the pandemic, BBC 6 favourites Chroma’s recording sessions for what would be their debut album have been delayed. Chroma are treating us to a song from a previous recording session that has remained locked in the vaults until now.

‘Head In Transit’ is a ferocious and explosive rocker that will work amazingly well as a show opener – when the band can get back to gigging. ‘Head In Transit’ was written whilst singer Katie worked in a ‘thankless’ role in a call centre and pays tribute to frontline staff whose hard graft during these difficult days goes shamefully uncredited.

4/5
