National Dance Company Wales have been working in collaboration with the Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama to stage a dynamic and compelling series of performances at their home in the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay.
From Thurs 27-Sat 29 June, Alternative Routes promises to showcase original choreography and a mesmerising night of entertainment, with dancers and choreographers from all walks of life being given the opportunity to come together to create an innovative and fresh display of colour, passion and movement. The new work featured as part of Alternative Routes includes solos, duets, and ensemble dances, as well as a wide variety of creative arts, with students from the Royal Welsh College working with the NDCW choreographers to help realise the staging of each dance.
The National Dance Company Wales, now celebrating their 30th anniversary year, specialises in the art of contemporary dance and supporting the ever-evolving and exciting stable of talented dancers and choreographers who continue to push boundaries. Alternative Routes promises to be an enlightening experience in which you will be able to witness first-hand the enriching journey of new young talents into the creative arts.
