“This summer, I went on a road trip through America with my parents. A particularly memorable part was driving through the old, rust belt states left behind by modern America. It struck me that these people have little hope. The political shift in America this year and lurch to the right with the nomination of Trump was a cry for help from these people, they wanted change, they want a resolution in their way of life.”
