3.David Walliams’ Gangsta Granny- 29th March- 1st April
The best selling children’s book Gangsta Granny is brought to life at the Swansea Grand Theatre by the fantastic Birmingham Stage Company. Ben, a young boy who hates having to stay at his Granny’s every Friday, soon discovers that his gran isn’t as boring as he thought.

4.Bringing Egypt to Merthyr: The Harry Southey Story- Exhibition begins on the 29th March
Come along to Cyfarthfa Castle Museum to find out about the amazing Egyptian artifacts that were brought back to Merthyr by Harry Southey. In 1917, Major Southey was killed in the Battle of Gaza and left the people of Merthyr Tydfil his amazing collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts.

5.An Evening with Forro Mior- 29th March
If you’re a fan of jazzy Brazilian folk music, then look no further for something to do this week! Forro Mior expand on the traditional triangle, accordian and zabumba setup to provide a more complex and intriguing sound. The band will be playing at Clwb Ifor Bach, bringing Latin sounds to the Welsh Capital.

6.Betway Premier League Darts- 30th March
Michael van Gerwen, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and Gary ‘The Flying Scotsman’ Anderson will be competing in darts’ premier competition at Cardiff’s Motorpoint arena this week for the prestigious title. Van Gerwen occupies top spot in the table and is looking for his third Premier League title.

7.Cardiff Music Awards- 30th March
Artists, promoters and companies of the Welsh capital will be celebrated this week at the Cardiff Music Awards which aim to promote, recognise and honour music in Cardiff. The awards will be held at Tramshed and hope to reinforce how healthy the music scene is in the city. So come along and see for yourselves!

8.Tom Allen and Suzi Rufell- 30th March

9.Dresden Philharmon Orchestra – 1st April
Conducted by Michael Sandering, the Dresden Philarhomic Orchestra will be bringing the sounds of Ludwig van Beethoven back to Cardiff’s St David’s Hall for another year. The talented orchestra will be performing Beethoven’s first and last symphonies which will surely dazzle the crowd!

10.Richard Herring: The Best- 2nd April
Serial podcaster and funnyman Richard Herring brings us a selection of his favourite routines and packs them into a 90 minute show at St. David’s Hall. A fantastic comedian, the show will provide a great introduction to Herring’s work for newcomers and provides a ‘best of’ for long term fans.
