SWANSEA IN GLOOM WALKING TOURS
Secrets of murder, superstitions, debauchery and ghosts. Join a walking tour with a chief storyteller to explore the city’s past from medieval times through to the mid-20th century. SEED TALKS: ADHD AND WOMEN
Join Dr Samantha Hiew, a social entrepreneur with a knack for storytelling, as she delves into the often-overlooked experiences of women with ADHD, exploring the challenges of diagnosis, self-acceptance and positive change. This looks to be a stimulating talk on a widely misconceived subject in Wales this May.

TREE
Thought-provoking comedy, presented by Cardiff theatre company Triongl, in which an environmental activist resorts to drastic measures to save a 250-year-old oak from being destroyed by local Welsh authorities. Touring across Wales from May to June, it opens with a three-date run in Cardiff’s Chapter Arts Centre and continues to Llanelli, Treorchy, Ystradgynlais, Abermule, Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Caernarfon and Criccieth.

BMC HONGIAN FFEST 2023
Experience the beauty of Blaenau Ffestiniog’s rock and hills with Hongian Ffest, a bilingual festival celebrating climbing, bouldering, and hill walking. The people to thank for this, if the prospect of strutting around a large hall sampling fine wines and other libations sounds like a corking evening, are Swansea’s ND John Wine Merchants. THE WORLD TURNED UPSIDE DOWN
Screening as part of Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Action Week, The World Turned Upside Down: A Film About Dementia And Communication is an IDEAL research project from Exeter University focusing on the challenges of effective communication in dementia diagnosis and care. Featuring real-life experiences from individuals, families, and healthcare professionals, the film offers insights into maintaining good conversations while reflecting on how conversations can work successfully.

ATLANTIS
Full of energy and epic harmonies, Technicolour presents Atlantis: an underwater kingdom above ground and under a roof. WATERMARKS: SHORT FILMS ON WATER
An evening showcasing four short films which explore the relationship between humans and water against the backdrop of climate breakdown commissioned by WOW Wales One World Film Festival and Dhaka Doc Lab as part of the Bangladesh Cymru Climate Stories project. JEMIMA
Produced by Theatr Arad Goch and performed in Welsh, Jemima is a brand new production about Jemima Nicholas, the pitchfork-wielding Pembrokeshire cobbler who led a rearguard action to repel the French army when they attempted to invade Wales via Fishguard in 1797. The production, pitched at ages seven and up, tours to 19 Welsh theatres, starting in Aberystwyth and concluding in Cardiff.

MABI
Challenging the foundation of Welsh civilization and allowing for discussion on art, humanity, and national identity. Mabi, a play based on the four branches of the Mabinogion, has been adapted for the stage by Kuba Pawelczak, the performance is brought to life by the Aberystwyth Theatre Society in English.

BALLET CYMRU PRESENT ROALD DAHL
You know the stories of Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs, right? How about Roald Dahl’s reshaping of them to his own ends in his Revolting Rhymes book (1982)? Composer Paul Patterson’s scores for the narration of Dahl’s words, composed in the 90s and 00s respectively, are now soundtracking a lavish, classical ballet based on Dahl’s sinister visions.
