WELSH THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE | EVENT PREVIEW
Sat 15 Jun
Although less well known than the national three peaks challenge which encompasses the highest three peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, the Welsh three peaks challenge is no less appealing for adventurous hikers and eager fundraisers keen on a new challenge.
With 15 hours to complete the challenge of three hulking mountains in north, mid and south Wales, challengers will tackle the mammoth challenge of Snowden in the early hours before moving on to Cadair Idris in mid Wales and Pen-Y-Fan to complete the day. Ty Hafan are now looking for willing combatants to take on the challenge on Sat 15 June. The charity hopes to assemble 80 teams of four (with a designated driver) for the challenge, and with it be a fantastic physical and teambuilding exercise, why not form a team with colleagues or friends.
All money raised through the event will go towards Ty Hafan’s support of life-limited children within. All support given by the charity within the hospice and home is without charge, and as such the cost of care comes from committed fundraisers. The Challenge is first come, first serve, so visit the website to complete the entry form and help support Welsh families in need.
