Pierstock may well be called a micro festival, but you can rest assured that it doesn’t fall short where variety and entertainment is concerned. Set in the creative and very friendly Gwdihw, Pierstock is a one-off musical festival event packed with bustling and quirky stalls, plenty of live music and dynamite DJs to keep you grooving throughout the day and into the evening. With a hog roast, sweet stall and oyster bar tempting festival-goers there’s plenty to be enjoyed from 4pm until 2am.
With live music and some scrumptious complimentary food and sweets on offer, you wouldn’t want to miss out. The bad news, however, is that there are only 60 spaces available to the public for free. To make sure you don’t miss out on this great little event, why not enter out competition at the bottom of the page for your chance to win one of four pairs we have up-for-grabs.
Showcasing an eclectic mix of bands and DJs from beginning to end, Pierstock is set to see such musical delights as Them Lovely Boys, Johnny Cage And The Voodoogroove – who will be performing their “dirty rock n roll and greasy rhythm and blues” – and Cardiff-based acoustic talent Alex Sedgmond who’s known for his use of the didgeridoo. You can also expect the likes of Ukulele Nights, T.R.O.M.B (The Reinvention Of Mr. Babatola) and live percussion from Tim Short & Adrian Wiggins. I did warn you it was an eclectic mix!
On top of all of this great live music, there will also be DJs until late for those who want to party into the wee hours of the morning. This unique festival serves up plenty of festival delights and complimentary freebies. For your chance to win one of four pairs of tickets, simply answer the below question and email your answers to [email protected] along with your contact details and twitter username (if you have one) by 12 noon on Fri 9 Sept.
