COMPETITION | LOS CHARLY’S ORCHESTRA ALBUM
Ever wondered what a Latin disco retro 70’s funk orchestral band sound like? If so then you are in luck as Los Charly’s Orchestra’s album Rediscovering the Big Apple is an amalgamation of all these sounds. Drawing inspiration from 70’s New York City sounds of Latin disco and funk, the UK band are paying homage to the city that inspired them in an album that is a musical melting pot. The British based collective are lead by Venezuelan producers Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel and the international sound of the band comes from their hunger and willingness to work with producers from as many other genres as possible.
