With The Information, the likable, rambling and always inventive Mark Watson attempts to explore the impact that the availability of information via the internet and social networks has had on our everyday lives. Taking a fresh approach to the typical stand-up routine, audiences will be invited to take part in the show, directly communicating with Watson by text while a QR barcode (one of those black and white squares you’ve seen everywhere) will allow them to vote on his entrance music and the colour of his t-shirt. Watson will also provide a special phone number through which they are encouraged to pass information about the person/people they are with which he will then try to work into the routine. Be sure to check-in at one of Watson’s three South Wales dates.
