A single action causes dozens of powerful ripples that change the course of our lives, actions that can teach valuable lessons or take away what is precious. There was no sign, no warning. A month since Stephen jumped, his life has been condensed into a box and with it Amy sets out to search for his reasons. Meanwhile Joe and Matt make a startling discovery amongst their documentary footage – a blurred image, of a man jumping from the cliffs… Where will it take them all?
With such a sensitive subject in and out of the news in recent years, many of you could be excused for harbouring suspicions over content and handling suicide as a theme. Yet the promotional video ignites the curiosity; inviting an audience. This youthful, confident theatre company do not just rely on traditional theatre methods to tell a story. Here they draw the audience in by blending a mix of multimedia disciplines; scripted text with 3D animation, physical performance, object manipulation, filmic techniques and original music promising atmosphere, cunning and anticipation as well as the exploration of the subject.
Analogue’s second production, Beachy Head debuted in 2009 achieving success at the Edinburgh Fringe and it’s now back, touring with a new cast. The script has been published alongside the program play text. A free pre-show talk will also be taking place for the audience.
