Back by popular demand, the dynamic comedy production, Bouncers, returns for another South Wales tour – courtesy of Black Rat Productions in association with Blackwood Miners’ Institute. Enthusiasm and wit is packed into John Godber’s much-loved comedy classic which has already enjoyed fantastic success in South Wales.
This hilarious comedy is set in a northern nightclub in the mid 90s. It sees bouncers Les, Judd, Ralph and Lucky Eric work a typically drunken Friday night with hilarious consequences. Met with the all too familiar sight of lads on the pull, girls on the razzle and all that happens in between, Bouncers, echoes the reality that many in South Wales will have experienced in their time.
What makes for an even more entertaining show is the fact that the bouncers actually play ALL the characters in the show. From hairdresser to hot-dog salesman and teenage girl, Bouncers, is incredibly entertaining and delivered excellently by four great Welsh comic actors.
This play will appeal to anyone who’s ever been to a pub or club on a Saturday and experienced for themselves the wild and unexpected events that are a regular occurrence for bouncers throughout South Wales.
With 12 dates across South Wales; from Pontypridd to Cwmbran and Cardiff, it’ll be hard to miss Bouncers this November. Info: www.blackratproductions.co.uk
