WNO Orchestra: A Night In Vienna, Dora Stoutzker Hall, Cardiff, Fri 13 Jan.
After all the exhaustion of 2016, why not begin the new year with something different? This January, join the prestigious Welsh National Opera Orchestra and Royal College of Music and Drama for a night of glorious classical music. The beautifully designed venue will be filled by classical music for a special Viennese mid-winter concert, A Night in Vienna. Leaving their conductor behind, leader of the orchestra David Adams will guide the audience and musicians alike through a magical night with one of the most loved Mozart concertos of all time, the Concerto for Flute, Harp, and Orchestra. This is a great opportunity to leave the wintery weather and the low temperatures outside to warm up with great a performance. Some of the most famous and renowned waltzes, alongside the sheer white heat of the overture and polkas will be played throughout the evening.
