Newbridge’s Workingman’s Institute and Memorial Hall boasts an Art Deco cinema and a sprung floor dance floor and theatre, this Sat 14 Oct it’s set to be taken over by some of Cardiff’s most talked about drag performers for “a night of fun and shenanigans”.
Cardiff drag collective the International League of Dianas brings their show The Dianas’ Glitter Hole to Newbridge’s historic venue. Hosted by the Dianas’ Lucy Fur and Lilith the Gag Hag, they will also be performing sketches and comedy skits.
Joining Lucy and Lil are up-and-coming performers that are making a name for themselves on the Cardiff drag scene – drag king and queen Gentleman Jack and Mollie Poppin, Cressida Wolf, Pom Pom, Bella Tempus, Demi Gorgon and Felix Love and Sam Clark.
Join these alternative performers for a night of variety and cabaret in this beautiful old venue. Expect to enjoy your usual drag lip-syncing as well as sketches, stand-up, games and live singing.
As well as the main show there is an after-party featuring music from Hey Mary’s resident DJ Sissy Boy Tears, providing tunes that’ll have you dancing until late.
