Northern Eye International Photography Festival

Collaboration between Oriel Colwyn and Aberystwyth’s The Eye Festival, bringing photographers, speakers and exhibitions to Colwyn Bay. It’s centred around a core speakers weekend in Theatr Colwyn across both days, with guests including Charlie Phillips, Emma Case, Brian Griffin, Alys Tomlinson, Jack Lowe, Suzie Larke and Craig Easton. Exhibitions as part of the Fringe, meanwhile, include Lottie Davies’ Quinn: Until The Land Runs; Brian Griffin’s Black Country Dada; Jack Lowe’s With Courage; Jack Latham’s Latent Bloom and Carolyn Mendelsohn’s Being Inbetween.
