The borough of Rhondda Cynon Taff are responsible for two theatres at present: the Coliseum, in Trecynon near Aberdare, and the Park & Dare in Treorchy. Each boasts a capacity of 600 plus, and both maintain a healthy programme of local theatre and music, as well as national touring acts and cinema screenings.
