The ever-growing popularity of the TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race has brought many past contestants and winners to Cardiff, and a chance to catch a whole bunch of them in one show is an opportunity no die-hard fan could afford to miss. The ensemble shows previously seen in Cardiff have featured a number of different acts in one show, whereas the Queens Of Comedy show promises big laughs from some of the strongest and funniest drag queens from the USA.
Hosted by Drag Race Season Six winner Bianca Del Rio, expect the tears to start running before anyone else hits the stage. Joining Bianca on this riotous revue are the energetic Alyssa Edwards, delightful BenDeLaCreme, terrifying Katya and multi-faced Charlie Hides. Along with these season queens comes long-time friend of RuPaul and big star of the US drag circuit, Lady Bunny, marking her first visit to Cardiff and no doubt bringing a whole load of laughs for us all.
This heady mix of queens promises a broad range of broad humour and plenty of laughs. Expect fabulous costumes, laughter and love from these wonderful ladies, a splendidly shady time is guaranteed for all.
