NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD BIG CHILL ZOMBIES

June 10, 2009 Category: Music, Previews

Let’s face it, festivals and zombie movies are two of the best things in life. Okay, this may be a grand (and possibly misguided)statement, but for those that do like festivals and zombie movies The Big Chill has got something that shall definite satisfy your hunger….for flesh. Bad joke there, we know…

Not only content with putting on one of the best festivals around and releasing  a superb festival book, they’re now turning their sights towards world records. And the record they are going for? Well it’s “Most Amount of Zombies Captured on Camera” of course.

The organisers are planning to put thousands of festival goers in zombie makeup and film the mockumentary I Spit On Your Rave which is set in 2018 in a zombie ruled world. The undead, in case you were wondering, had taken over the world after a virus was released at the 2012 Olympics.

The film is to be directed by Chris Boyle and follows the first post apocalyptic festival because obviously zombies need to party too.

And if this doesn’t give you an extra incentive to hunt down The Big Chill fest, then we don’t know what will. Oh, apart the fact that there are host of amazing bands supplying the more-than-perfect entertainment.
