One of the most familiar faces on British television and the West End, John Barrowman, will be performing live at Cardiff’s International Arena for one night only with his latest all-singing all-dancing show.
Famous for his roles as Captain Jack Harkness in BBC programmes Doctor Who and Torchwood, and as a judge on award-winning BBC1 shows How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything, Jack Barrowman is looking forward to getting back to the stage. With strong routes in Wales, this Cardiff date will be somewhat of a home-coming for John who has been performing, acting and presenting all around Britain and America.
This new live show is a way for him to interact with fans (of which there are plenty) and for them to learn what a little bit about his daily life and his passion for music and performing. The show will feature songs from his newly released third studio album John Barrowman, which includes some of his favourite numbers from musicals such as Cats, Mamma Mia!, Jersey Boys and Mack & Mabel. There are also several comedy numbers, a mixture of other songs and special guest appearances, including Jodie Prenger.
John Barrowman will be performing at the Cardiff International Arena, Mary Ann Street, on the 16 Oct. Tickets: £22.25-42.75. Info: www.livenation.co.uk/ 02920 224 488
