JOOLS HOLLAND & HIS RHYTHM AND BLUES ORCHESTRA

Cardiff International Arena, Fri 17 Dec

There is little that composer, pianist, band-leader and broadcaster Jools Holland is unable to achieve musically-speaking. This includes continuing to impress audiences on his regular tours with his dedicated Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. Fri 17 Dec welcomes the return of Jools Holland to Cardiff International Arena for a night of entertainment sure to be packed up with inventive and entertaining compositions, collaborations and a cracking atmosphere.

Among the lineup of artists ready to party with Jools is Ruby Turner, a hugely successful and diverse star who is extraordinary in all genres of music; whether it be r’n’b, soul or jazz. Up there with Jools in the ranks of highly regarded UK jazz and blues artists, Louise Marshall joins the tour, ready to unleash her striking voice on audiences. And let’s not forget the musical mystery that is Alison Moyet. Able to adapt to almost any musical style, what will she sing with Jools?

As one of Britain’s most respected and best-loved musicians, Jools Holland promises more than just a night of spectacular music. With his warm personality and endearing attitude towards accessible music for everybody, this is a night which will leave audiences hoping that Jools will make yet another return to the capital in 2011.

Tickets: £32.50. Info: 0871 231 0831 / www.livenation.co.uk
