Assassin's Creed Rogue

ASSASSIN’S CREED ROGUE REMASTERED ***

Xbox One / 360

In 2014, the first version of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue was released as an upgrade from the

original game. I had somewhat low expectations of this second version but was pleasantly

surprised with the increased visual quality, especially concerning the surrounding environment.

The increased range of weapons adds dimensions to the game that it somewhat lacked before.

The perspective of an assassin-turned-templar is a storyline unique to Rogue and allows you

to play as the antihero, keeping the original story but adding a compelling twist. (RdH)

Civilisation 6

CIVILIZATION VI: RISE AND FALL EXPANSION ****

PC, Steam, Apple Store

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Rise And Fall expansion seeks to add a more intricate and deeper

strategy game experience and largely it does just that. The new flavorful Civs and their leaders

are welcome additions despite the slight power creep. It’s the new game mechanics which

make Rise And Fall an expansion to sink tens of hours into Civilization VI all over again. City

loyalty, history timeline, great ages, emergencies and alliances make for entirely unique games

with more dynamic personal stories, despite still having some issues with AI. JY
