Social Cyder Festival 2018 by Old Tree Brewery, Three Pools, Abergavenny, Fri 26 Oct
Food waste is a massive issue that needs a creative solution. One group that has come up with an innovative idea is the Old Tree Brewery. Founded in 2014, they aim to save as many apples as possible from going to waste by making homemade cider. From humble beginnings, this social cider festival now collects unharvested apples from across West England. This year, they hope to take 4,000 litres of apple juice to ferment into cider for 2019. If you want to get involved, the weekend will include plenty of apple juice and cider (alongside brewing demonstrations), vegan feasts for every meal, music and games set amongst a backdrop of stone barns and meadows.

A Taste Of India, Healthaspire, The Old Smoke House, Milford Haven, Fri 26 Oct

Alongside hands-on experience and demonstrations, you will also get the opportunity to enjoy tasters and lunch, as well as taking home anything you make.
