Dancing On The Frontline (SO)

Enter Shikari’s latest output, Dancing On The Frontline – a companion to the hugely successful A Kiss For The Whole World – is an album of (mostly) remixes and live recordings. Capitalising on a year-old record with a new release is not a feat most could achieve but Enter Shikari manage to pull it off.

The album features Shikari Sound System Remixes of Goldfish and Bloodshot; the offerings of the electronic alter-ego catapult these tracks to colossal status, so much so, the casual listener and die-hard fan alike would struggle not to thrash their head to them. Dancing On The Frontline also has an accompanying Blu-ray showcasing two Enter Shikari festival sets – Slam Dunk in 2023 and German fest Vainstream the previous year – and their live show is as much a visual feast as it is musical. 

Add some standout singles such as Jason Aalon Butler feature Losing My Grip and emphatic Wargasm collaboration The Void Stares Back, equally as philosophical as it is a certified banger, and Dancing On The Frontline adds up to something wholly worth checking out.
