CONFESSIONS | STAGE PREVIEW
What is your deepest, darkest, most treasured secret? Have you ever told anyone it? What would people think of you if they found out? Now imagine that you have to stand in front of a crowd of up to 2,000 people and speak aloud the one thing that you’ve kept hidden for so long. Scary, right? That’s exactly what you will witness if you head down to the Wales Millennium Centre on Sunday.
Theater Versus Oppression and the Off Centre drama group join forces to stand on stage with their eyes closed and their hearts open. They will tell the audience something that they have never told anyone before, it might be a story that will make you laugh, or a secret that will shock you, or a tale that will bring a tear, but it will be something they have never told anyone before.
Now, because they’re a group of actors, and this is a staged performance, I can’t guarantee that everything they say will be the hand-on-heart truth. But what I can guarantee is that you leave the show you won’t be thinking about whatever they said. You’ll be thinking about the things that you’ve never said, and all the secrets you have kept hidden.
