After five successful years creating a unique range of Cardiff-inspired designs, Cardifferent Clothing have decided to call time on their brand as they move on to new projects. Cardifferent Clothing has been a mainstay of the creative scene for a number of years, producing a range of distinctive logos and designs. Here, Cardifferent explain the reasons behind the folds, whilst also extending their thanks to those who have supported them over the years.

“Having been focusing the majority of our time and energy on a couple of new projects for a while now, we’ve decided that the time has come to draw Cardifferent Clothing to a close. It’s not been an easy decision, partly because our identities have become so interwoven with the label over the years, but ultimately, when we looked to the future, it felt like the right thing to do.

We’d like to offer our thanks to all the people who’ve shown us love over the years, whether it’s been through placing an order, dropping us an email, or coming up to us in a club at 2 in the morning and saying, “Aren’t you the guys who do Cardifferent? – your t-shirts are dope!”. For us, it’s been many things : a colossal source of stress (especially at the beginning); the perfect excuse not to get a 9 – 5; the subject of countless hours of late night conversation; and, ultimately, a creative project which has brought us a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction.

We’ve decided to retain ownership of the brand in case we feel like bringing out a new collection sometime in the future, and, for anybody who wants to pick up a piece from the current range, there’s still a very limited number of items available through the website. Chances are you won’t hear from us again for a little while – we’ve both still got a ways to go with our new projects – but we can’t wait to share them with you, so stay connected to this page, keep your ears to the ground, and keep supporting Cardiff’s independents.”
