Commencing on the 24th of October, the week-long extravaganza boasts a packed schedule of events for the public to both watch in awe and take part in. The winner will be awarded with a window Ty Hafan’s Emporium shop in Morgan Arcade, then proceed to be sold at auction with the money raised going to the charity.
Social issues are also in the forefront of this occasion, with Love Your Clothes aiming to raise awareness of how people dispose of their clothing. A staggering £140 million pounds worth of garments are disposed of every year, but with some care and upcycling tips, you can re-work once worn down clothes into your next favourite outfit.
