RHONDDA ROCKS COMPETITION
Bringing the sound of music to the valleys, The Factory, Rhondda’s finest live music venue, has launched its first two-day music extravaganza, Rhondda Rocks. Starting on Fri 3 Aug, the day will showcase the catchy riffs and solid beats of young and upcoming bands such as Reaper In Sicily and My Heroine. Continuing through Satur 4, there will be 12 straight hours of live music, from bands such as 60s-inspired garage rockers, The Deadheads and also Wibidi. Ending the event with a spectacular bang, Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Anthony Kiedis’s favourite band, Bow Wow Wow will be performing their 80s new wave music.
So, with a multi-genre mishmash from the young and old alike, Rhondda Rocks is set to be one of the most exhilarating 48 hours of live music the Rhondda Valleys have ever seen. Music lovers get ready to grab your studded leather jackets and head down to The Factory, Porth, for a weekend full of rocking music you will definitely want to shout loud and proud about!
We’ve lucky got our hands on two pairs of weekend tickets for the event, and all you have to do is answer the following question…
Q: Wibidi are one of the bands featured at this year’s Rhondda Rocks festival, but which well-known Welsh band are two of the members part of?
Send your answers to us by 12 noon on Friday for your chance to win. email@example.com
