AMELIA TRUST FARM NATIVITY | EVENT PREVIEW
Set in 160 acres of countryside, The Amelia Trust Farm is a care farm, registered charity and a working farm with over 500 animals. Supporting and educating young people who may be vulnerable or disadvantaged is the key aim. The alternative curriculum offers accreditation in various areas such as: Animal Care, Playing the Guitar, Woodwork, Health and Fitness and Life Skills. The Farm is also open daily for the public to enjoy and explore the natural surroundings.
This Christmas, The Amelia Trust Farm is inviting everyone to play their part in a Farm Yard Nativity.  With congregational singing, a cast of animals-including sheep, goats and donkeys-and audience participation in the ‘walk to Bethlehem’, this Nativity story will certainly be brought to life. Carollers will welcome guests as they sing the songs of the season from around the Christmas tree. The story will commence in the hall and all of Mary, Joseph, the Sheppard’s, Kings and Angels will be appearing before the last carol and scene at the manger. Family and friends should wrap up warm and come equipped with wellies and torches. Finally, make sure to head to the visitors centre afterwards for mulled wine and mince pies to cosily complete the evening.
