Now we are in the holiday season Locus are putting up their music to download, but they only have two shows left for you to catch before they back up for Christmas, so head down on the 13th and 20th of December! Dansette, a soul music band that are horn driven, you read that right, horn driven are playing at Cafe Jazz on Friday the 11th. This hipster band plays a mix of 60s Soul classics from stars like Atlantic, Motown and Stax. Paget Rooms are hosting live bands like The Class of ’58, Lewis Clayton & The Cyclones and The Big Beat Record Hop. Three recent graduates from the University of South Wales are showing off their talent with an Exhibit in Penarth Pier Pavilion called Threads of Nature. They are showing how the phenomenon’s of nature, like landscape and water, and how we are connected by invisible threat to this natural world. You may have seen Into the Woods in the cinema, but now it’s time to see the show as it was meant to be seen; through theatre. The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama have put on a production of Into the Woods, so support your local school and watch a good production at the same time.
